Yesterday I tried another new dish, this one inspired by a recipe I found on the internet. It was for pork, but I subsituted mock pork (seitan). I had half a head of napa cabbage that needed to be used, and I found this recipe looking around for napa cabbage recipes. I thought that apricots and cabbage sounded like an interesting pairing, and that turned out to be the case. I made a few other substitutions. The original recipe called […] (Read more)

Last week I tried another recipe from the Bold Vegetarian Chef. Again, I mostly stuck to the recipe, but modified some of the quantities. This one called for one carrot and one celery stalk. I was recently debating with my friend Danny how people navigate sites, especially blogs. There are several different ways in which people can navigate to […] (Read more)

Last night I tried another new recipe from the Bold Vegetarian Chef which I am borrowing from the library. I stuck to the recipe for the most part, except I used somen noodles instead of udon, because that is what I had on hand. I stir fried these things in this order:: 2 inch piece of fresh ginger, minced 1 tbsp. minced garlic 2 cans of seitan (mock abalone) Half a head of napa cabbage, shredded 4 carrots, matchsticked 16oz […] (Read more)

I host a bbpress forum for each of my wordpress plugins, so that people can report bugs and ask for new features. Bbpress has many of the same features as wordpress, and it integrates very well with wordpress. It is also very fast, and as of version 1.0, now has the same admin interface as wordpress. When people report bugs on the forum, I frequently try to fix them in the development version of the plugin, and ask them to […] (Read more)
